Connecting to Cohan - a privilege

When Yorke Dance Company were looking for a pianist to play for their Connecting to Cohan celebration of the Robert Cohan at the Royal Opera House Linbury, I was lucky enough that a former Rambert dancer-colleague recommended me. Apparently, “There are big time soloists involved - it has to be spot on.” Glad I only found out this was said after I’d played!

It was an absolute honour to play for the iconic Nymphéas and Lamentation perfomed by Matthew Ball, Romany Padjak and Yolande Yorke-Edgell. What expressive works, danced by the best of dancers.
